Dan Ahrens is the portfolio manager of AdvisorShares Pure Cannabis ETF (NYSE: YOLO), AdvisorShares Pure US Cannabis ETF (NYSE: MSOS) and AdvisorShares Vice ETF (NYSE: VICE). He acts as Chief Operating Officer of AdvisorShares Investments, LLC. Dan carries well over two decades of experience in the financial services industry serving in a variety of senior-level capacities, including portfolio management, sales management, finance, operations and compliance. Among many investment funds he has brought to market or managed, he launched the Vice Fund (VICEX) in 2002 and served as its original portfolio manager. Dan is the author of Investing in Cannabis (Wiley, 2020) and Investing in Vice (St. Martin’s Press, 2004). He has appeared prominently across financial media outlets and major national and trade publications.
