Dr. Daniel Huerta was born in Mexico City and his family moved to the United States when he was 8 years old. He studied psychology at the University of Colorado in Colorado Springs and got a master's degree in social work from the University of Denver Graduate School of Social Work. He has a doctorate in clinical psychology. Daniel has counseled families for over 20 years and has been interviewed on Fox News and various other outlets around the world. He has been invited to speak on the topics of family and parenting at various venues. He gets to serve as Vice President of Parenting and Youth at Focus on the Family and thoroughly enjoys spending time with his family playing, serving, working, resting, and being outdoors.
