Daniela Alibrandi was born in Rome and lived in the United States. Professionally, she has been involved in cultural exchanges within the European Union and the Council of Europe. Among her extensive literary works, which include numerous novels, three English editions, and an anthology, we particularly remember: "Delitti sommersi", "Viaggio a Vienna"(Among the best books 2020), "Una morte sola non basta"(Presented at the library of the Italian Chamber of Deputies), "Quelle strane ragazze" (Perseide Prize 2014), "Nessun segno sulla neve" (Circe Prize 2013), "Un'Ombra sul fiume Merrimack" (Novel Writing 2012), and "I misteri del vaso etrusco" (Honorable Mention 2020). Winner of many national literary awards, she was a finalist with her thrillers in the Mondadori Competition 2018, won the Gold Mystery Prize 2020, received the Special Yellow Noir Prize 2021, and she was awarded the prestigious Women Art Week 2022 Career Literary Award. She participates in major national book fairs and is present with her works in libraries at main American universities. Her short stories have all been published by a RAI periodical, while her novels are often featured on Italian RAI television and radio broadcasts. Some of her books are translated in English and from march 2024 it starts the release of an involving literary series, Scent of Italy, containing three awarded books: 1) THAT SUDDEN NIGHT IN VENICE, an involving plot set in the most mysterius Italian city, Venice. Descriprions and atmospheres are the frame of an engaging story. Upcoming: 2)RACHEL'S CHILD, an involving thriller whose settings are on the enchanting coast to the north of Rome, between sea, mountains and Etruscan antiquities 3)THOSE STRANGE GIRLS, a spy thriller completely set in the magical district of Rome, the Coppedè.
