David W. McNutt (PhD, University of Cambridge) is senior acquisitions editor at Zondervan Academic and senior lecturer in Core Studies at Wheaton College, where he teaches courses in theology, theology and the arts, and philosophical aesthetics. He is the co-author of Know the Theologians (Zondervan, 2024), and his written work has also appeared in a variety of publications, including Christianity Today, Christ and Pop Culture, and the International Journal of Systematic Theology. His research focuses on the relationship between the Christian faith and the arts, the Reformed tradition, and the theology of Karl Barth. He is also an ordained Presbyterian minister and the co-founder of McNuttshell Ministries, which seeks to bridge the academy and the church.
