When Denise’s son Cory died in 2014, she experienced a profound awakening that set her on a lifelong journey of love, healing, and transformation. Since then, she has published sixteen books, created art that celebrates color and spirit, and guided others through grief and renewal. Her work spans memoir, practical guides, and explorations of consciousness, all pointing toward the same truth: love is who we are. Beyond writing, Denise has traveled widely, shared daily inspiration, hosted workshops and gatherings, and walked hundreds of miles in presence and prayer. She lives her miraculous life in Austin, Texas, where she continues to write, create art, and work as an interior designer. When she isn’t creating, you’ll likely find her on the dance floor or swimming at Barton Springs—embodying the joy and vitality she inspires in others.
