Dermot Berkery is one of the longest-serving venture capitalists in Europe, with more than 20 years' experience evaluating new business ideas. His company has reviewed more than 7,000 business plans submitted by entrepreneurs and has invested in over 120 startups. He is a director or board member of many of them, including Davra, VisionR, SiriusXT and Luzern Ecommerce. He is a former board member of StitcherAds (Sold to Kargo Global), AltoCloud (sold to Genesys), SensL (sold to OnSemiconductor), Clavis Insight (sold to Ascential), Electroroute (sold to Mitsubishi) and SeeWhy Software (sold to SAP). Prior to his career in venture capital, he worked as a consultant with McKinsey & Company and earned his MBA from Harvard University.
