Diana Rodriguez Wallach is a multi-published author of young adult novels, most recently YA horror novels. Her newest book, THE SILENCED, is a haunted tale tackling the Troubled Teen Industry and released in September 2025 through Penguin Random House. In October 2023, she released HATCHET GIRLS, a modern twist on Lizzie Borden, and in 2021, she published SMALL TOWN MONSTERS, named one of the “13 Scariest Books of 2021” by Kirkus Reviews (all PRH). Diana is also the author of the Anastasia Phoenix Trilogy; the first book in the series, PROOF OF LIES, was a finalist for the 2018 International Thriller Awards for Best YA Novel. Additionally, Diana has published a YA contemporary trilogy, and her debut novel placed second in the International Latino Book Awards for Best YA Novel. Her writing credits also include short stories and essays in several anthologies. She currently teaches writing courses through the Highlights Foundation, has previously taught writing for Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth, and is the former cohost of the podcast The Papertrail.
