From the moment I could walk and talk, I’ve lived and breathed animals. I’ve always known that animals are great teachers and over the years I’ve been blessed with many remarkable friendships with companion, farm and native animals. They have led me to explore and attempt to document the fascinating field of the human-animal bond. I’ve also authored a blog on my animal sanctuary for a number of years and have written about environmental issues for conservation organisations. My award-winning career in learning design has also seen me design and write in the educational sphere for thirty years. I’m most at home on my forty acre property in Berambing, a small town in the Blue Mountains, where I’ve lived for the past twenty-five years with my three children and a huge variety of beloved animals.
