Don C. Davis grew up in the country on a farm, then went off to college at age seventeen with only eighty-seven dollars in his pocket. The next day he went to the city to find a parttime job to begin working his way through college, leading to a successful 40-year career as a United Methodist minister. His follow-on journey as an author has focused on living by universal human values, setting a positive outlook on life, and building friendships across all boundaries. His latest book, "The Reach", presents twenty-one metaphorical stories that bridge yesterday into today, signaled by the Big Ten Humanitarian Qualities that encompass all cultures, religions, and politics, uniting us as one global family.
