Sara Christie is a compassionate and empathetic physician whose personal and professional life shows her firm dedication to her patients’ health. During her years of practice, she has faced and overcome many issues, each of which has made her the dedicated healthcare worker she is today. Spurred by a sincere intent to enhance lives, Sara dedicates herself tirelessly to her practice. Yet, her journey has not been free of personal struggles. Her marriage to Dr. M Hasan Jamali, M.D., an endocrinologist and internist, was a challenging period loaded with emotional anguish generated by his egocentric biases. For years, she survived manipulation and control, suffering quite emotionally, psychologically, and financially. Despite these challenges, Sara would not let her circumstances represent her. Through her writing, Sara candidly clarifies what she has learned from all her experiences with the pursuit of inspiring and giving hope to those who also suffer from similar difficulties. Her story demonstrates the strength of resilience, passion for self, and striving for a healthier, better life. As a physician and author, Sara aims to share on a human level. She is highly convinced of the power of the art of storytelling, support, and the ray of hope for any individual who might be lost or stumbling. Her agenda is to help others drive beyond their damages and use their challenges as an opportunity to convalesce and grow as a way of living the entire life they are called to live.
