Mady was also a prominent vice president and general manager for The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, playing a pivotal role in that luxury brand’s winning of two Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Awards – a first for the hospitality industry. He has held further high-profile leadership positions serving Helmsley Hotels, Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, and Fairmont Hotels and Resorts, and he is a published business author in Forbes, Fast Company and Harvard Business Review. Edward Mady was named Hotelier of the World by Hotels Magazine, and Angeleno Magazine has included him in its roster of the 25 most influential citizens of greater Los Angeles. He has achieved numerous awards for hotels in the Forbes Five-Star, AAA Five-Diamond and Michelin Star categories, placing him in the upper one percent of award-winners who have run hotels in America.
