Elaine's personal brand of One Big Life is the foundation for how she pursues her passion for helping others live their lives in the Place of Most Potential. Whether it's growing a business, pursuing personal growth or building meaningful relationships, she believes everyone can pursue a coordinated life worth framing. Through sharing her personal experiences, her success strategies, challenges, and learnings from "failures", Elaine continues to encourage others to positively embrace the potential of each life's journey. With her son David, Elaine is a founding partner of Commit Agency, one of America's most highly recognized advertising agencies headquartered in Arizona. She and David have been honored to receive the "Spirit of Enterprise Award" from Arizona State University for their contributions in the business community, the "Torch Award" for business Ethics from the BBB, and multiple "Best Places to Work" honors among others. In addition to launching several other businesses, Elaine organized and launched Bank 1440 with friends in Scottsdale, AZ, and was 1440's Vice Chair through the acquisition by Bank 34 of New Mexico. She subsequently served on that governing board as Bank 34 went public, pursued acquisitions, and grew into Southwest Heritage Bank, one of Arizona's largest community banks.
Elaine is a founding member of Women President's Organization Phoenix Chapter, and served on the Board of Directors of the Pacific Southwest Better Business Bureau and its Foundation, as well as the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Valley, the Arizona Foundation for Women, as co-chair of Women on Boards 2020 and on the Steering Committee for Women in Leadership for the Chandler Chamber of Commerce. She has been an active member of Vistage Leadership International, and the Phoenix Chapter of the American Marketing Association, where she served as President. She was dubbed a serial entrepreneur by Biz AZ magazine, and honored as "Adjunct Professor Extraordinaire" while teaching Marketing and Business Strategy at Grand Canyon University's Colangelo College of Business.
Elaine earned a Bachelor's Degree from Ithaca College, an MBA from Arizona State University, and a Ph.D. from Nova Southeastern University's H. Wayne Huizenga College of Business and Entrepreneurship. In addition, she's held Certifications in Case Management and Rehabilitation Counseling. She counts her blessings and credits any successes along the way to God working in her life and the importance of continuous personal growth.
