Hi, my name is Elizabeth Haran and I'm an Australian writer. I write novels set all over Australia, in exciting locations like Kangaroo Island, Echuca on the River Murray, the Flinders Ranges and the Clare Valley, just to name a few. My stories are woven around exciting times in Australia's history, so not only do my readers enjoy a romantic story, but they learn about Australia's past and our pioneers. My female characters are always strong women, but they have a lot to contend with before they find happiness and true love. I was born in Zimbabwe when it was known as Southern Rhodesia and migrated to Australia as a young girl. I loved Africa and it will always have a place in my heart, but I also love this big brown land we lovingly refer to as Oz. We have wonderful beaches, snow-covered mountains, the tropics and a mountain range that goes from one end of the country to the other, separating the coast from Australia's rich, red heart.
