Erin L. McCoy is the author of UNDERLAKE, a novel about the search for a missing girl beneath a lake and the community that lives there, published by Doubleday in 2026. She is also the author of WRECKS, a finalist for the Noemi Press Book Award and winner of the Florida Book Award. Her work has appeared in Narrative, Conjunctions, The American Poetry Review, and Best New Poets. Born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky, Erin has lived in Seattle, Malaysia, Spain, and two St. Petersburgs.
