Fiona G Whitmore knows what it means to lose—and reclaim—your light.

Born in the deep bush of South Africa to activist and naturalist parents, she spent her childhood steeped in nature's beauty and boundless connection. At nine, her family emigrated to Australia, where the shock of private school beatings and ridicule plunged her into nearly twenty years of severe depression. This darkness became her teacher, launching a lifelong search for what she called "the Africa Feeling"—that sense of radiant aliveness she'd known as a child.

Through singing, meditation, Qigong, sound healing, travel, and deep spiritual practice, Fiona slowly lifted herself back into the light. She performed with the Australian and South Australian Operas in the 1970s and developed The Lemurian Sound Healing Technique to help others open their voices and access inner oneness. After studying with teachers worldwide, she spent years as a spiritual mentor, respected medium, and teacher in Australia and New York.

For over forty years, Fiona has taught workshops in hospitals, retreats, and holistic centers, supporting thousands of students in the art of remembering who they truly are. She operated a holistic school in New York for over 15 years, co-hosts the Earth Tribe Radio podcast, and is featured in the documentary Women of the Earth, which explores Aboriginal women's wisdom. She has authored Feng Shui Tuning, Auras and Chakras 911, and Barefoot Enlightenment: Remembering Who You Really Are.

She lives in Northern California with her husband, her daughter and granddaughter nearby, surrounded by the animals and plants that first showed her the way home—and that continue to root her in the natural enlightenment she embodies and shares.
