Dr. Florian Neukart is a renowned leader in quantum technology, artificial intelligence, and high-tech innovation. As Chief Product Officer and a Member of the Board of Management at Terra Quantum AG, he leads the company’s strategic product development, merging advanced research with practical applications that shape the future of technology. Before joining Terra Quantum, Florian spent over a decade at Volkswagen Group, where he founded and directed the Volkswagen Data Lab in Munich and the Advanced Technologies Group in San Francisco, pioneering research efforts in quantum computing, AI, and sustainable energy. Florian holds advanced degrees in computer science, physics, and information technology, as well as a Ph.D. in computer science focused on the intersection of AI and quantum computing. He teaches quantum computing as an Assistant Professor at the Leiden Institute of Advanced Computer Science and actively contributes to the field through academic research. An advisor to several influential organizations, Florian serves on the Board of Trustees for the International Foundation for Artificial Intelligence and Quantum Computing, is a Special Advisor to the Quantum Strategy Institute, and contributes to advisory boards such as Quantum.Tech and KI Park. He has also co-authored Germany’s National Roadmap for Quantum Computing and was a member of the World Economic Forum's Future Council on Quantum Computing. A prolific author, Florian has published over 100 works across various domains, including quantum technology, artificial intelligence, neuroscience, materials science, and autonomous systems. His published works include books on AI and energy, as well as numerous articles that contribute to a deeper understanding of advanced technologies. With a career marked by a commitment to solving complex global challenges, Florian continues to push the boundaries of technological innovation for the betterment of society.
