I’ve been deep in the entertainment and media industry since the early nineties.
Before launching my own PR, social media, and management agency, FOOLPROOFED, back in 2001, I worked as Head of Press and Spokesperson for TV networks like VIVA, VIVA ZWEI, and RTL Television.
For two decades, my agency rolled out nationwide PR campaigns for major TV networks, entertainment brands, and artists.
As a graduate media educator and musician, my debut dropped back in 1991:
‘Eins. Zwei ... Eins. Zwei. Drei. Vier’ hit the shelves via Krash Literaturverlag Cologne, featuring liner notes by Enno Stahl. We tore it up with the ‘Kunstpiraten’ (Art Pirates) crew, hitting the stage for joint readings and wild performances. One major highlight was at the Kölner Schlachthof in ’91, supported by Rüdiger Funk, Jörn Loges (✝), and Beck alias Beck Hansen (‘Loser’).
Set deep within the eighties independent music scene, this novel is wild, gritty, and raw – a stark reflection of life inside the subculture, unfolding in filthy rehearsal spaces, run-down pubs, and chaotic flatshares. For these protagonists, everyday life is fueled by non-conformity, a love-hate relationship with consumerism, and a desperate search for something to hold onto. Dreams shatter. The abyss is never more than a step away. Yet, time and again, they pull themselves back up through the music. Ultimately, it’s a story fierce with hope, driven by a deep love for life, a passion for the stage, and an unconditional devotion to the music.
My novels are primarily set within the music and media scenes, taking a socially critical look at the lifestyles, fashion trends, and socio-politics of the past few decades. I’m constantly inspired by stories of people dropping out of the system – my protagonists break away from conventional, middle-class life and plunge straight into high-stakes, action-packed road movies or gripping, high-drama thriller and drop-out tales.
Now - after writing eleven novels and four audiobooks - I’m finally breaking into the international scene.
November 2026 marks my first-ever English release with ‘TEN SISTERS’. And there’s plenty more in the pipeline – with the ‘LOVERSLANE’ trilogy and ‘TEMPTATIONS’ already locked in to hit the global market next.
