When you are twelve, magic is real. Gina first drew Kazmir, a flying camel, when she was twelve years old. Gina Vivona, the author and illustrator of Kazmir, The Flying Camel, could not shake the character or his story loose from her heart or mind. It followed her to adulthood. When she committed the story to paper, she gave the lead to 12 year old Michael-Ann, the heroine of the tale. As life and magic will have it, Gina's story, which began in drawing and moved to words on paper, is now an audio book, with characters coming boldly to life through storytelling, sound effects and music.
