Guillermo Borao (Zaragoza, 1990) holds a degree in Journalism, a Master’s degree in Film and Television, and is currently a PhD candidate in Hispanic Literatures. Since 2010, he has received more than twenty literary awards in short-story competitions, and in 2016 he was granted a residency scholarship for young creators at the Antonio Gala Foundation. In 2023, the Provincial Council of Zaragoza, together with the city’s booksellers, recognized his contribution to Aragonese literature for his debut novel, "La sastrería de Scaramuzzelli", which was included in Babelio’s collective list as one of the twenty best novels of the year. The Huffington Post also selected "Esconderé mi rostro" as one of the five books to watch in December. In addition to his literary career, he has worked as a columnist for various media outlets and has developed part of his professional career in the production of national and international television series and feature films.
