Gunhild Haugnes is a Norwegian author and a Viking descendant. She is fascinated by the pagan way of life. Right now she is writing the "Daughters of Freya Series". The first book is about the valkyrie Freydis Eriksdotter, who is currently featured in the Netflix series Vikings: Valhalla. She has also visited the place in Greenland where Freydis and her famous brother and father lived. For research and adventure.
