British author Hannah Dennison has been an obituary reporter, an antique dealer, a private jet flight attendant, and a Hollywood story analyst. Writing about murder seemed the obvious next step. Hannah began her career as a cub reporter on the former Tiverton Gazette before a desire for greater adventure carried her from the West Country to California, where she spent more than two decades working in the entertainment industry. Today, Hannah is best known for her bestselling Honeychurch Hall Mysteries, set in the heart of the English countryside. The series follows antique dealer Kat Stanford and her irrepressible mother, Iris, as they uncover murder and mayhem amid the eccentric residents of Honeychurch Hall. The latest instalment, *Deadly Derailment at Honeychurch Hall*, is the twelfth book in the series. Her other mysteries include the Vicky Hill Mysteries and the Island Sisters Mysteries. Her books have been translated into French, and *Tidings of Death at Honeychurch Hall* was shortlisted for the CrimeFest Last Laugh Award. Hannah studied Journalism at Cardiff Polytechnic and later earned a Certificate in Creative Writing from UCLA, where she also taught mystery writing. She has been featured in *Devon Life* magazine and the *Western Morning News*, and has appeared on BBC Radio Devon, BBC Radio Cornwall, and numerous podcasts. When she isn't plotting murder, Hannah can usually be found exploring the Devon countryside with Draco, her Hungarian Vizsla. She lives near Totnes and remains a Devon girl at heart.
