Hitoshi Kinoshita is the founder and CEO of Area Innovation Alliance(AIA) which has partnership to develop new district management business model with over 50 cities in Japan. He is an advisor to the Japanese government and a member of the Commission. When he was high school student, he founded a company to revitalize the local areas. The company was funded by people from all over the country. He has various practices to establish companies for revitalization of local areas. He has run the Urban Management Professional School for five years. Regional entrepreneurs and bureaucrats have attended the school, and more than 300 people have graduated. It advocates for self-sustaining community management by the private sector that is not dependent on government subsidies.
