Nancy Ann Healy is a best-selling author with over 70 published works across multiple genres, including political thrillers, romance, and fantasy. Since 2014, her novels—written under Nancy Ann Healy, JA Armstrong, and Riley Carmichael—have consistently landed in Amazon’s top 10. She is best known for the Alex and Cassidy Series, a political thriller spanning eight books, and seven best-selling lesbian romance series, including By Design, Special Delivery, Off Screen and her newest, Franke & Stein. She also writes, Immortal Bloodlines, a fantasy series written under Riley Carmichael. A common thread in Nancy’s work is family—an underrepresented theme in lesbian fiction. As a mom, she’s passionate about depicting the lives of women who love women beyond romance—raising children, building families, and navigating real-life relationships. She also believes in the power of storytelling to break stereotypes and foster inclusion. Beyond novels, Nancy has written a play (SPIN) and is developing her Open Tab series for film as Whiskey Springs. She studied ministry and social justice and lives in Connecticut with her wife, Melissa, and their four dogs.
