Janet Coplin is a native Texan, born in Fort Worth a long time ago. She lived and worked in the Washington D.C. area for several years before returning to Texas. After retiring from thirty years of public service and several years of university teaching, she began writing poetry. Her poems offer perspectives about life so as to capture and preserve moments of serendipity amid as well as elevating the mundane occurrences of daily life. Janet and her wife, Linda, live in Dallas, Texas.
