Janet Mizrahi teaches professional writing at the University of California, Santa Barbara. Prior to her academic career, she worked as a journalist, the editor of health-oriented e-commerce websites, and a marketing communications writer in the tech industry. She is the author of Fundamentals of Writing for Marketing and Public Relations, editor and writer of an e-newsletter, and a frequent presenter at the Association of Business Communication. She received her B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley, and her M.A. from UCLA.
