Jenni Ogden lives with her husband on a rugged, remote, off-grid island 100 kms off the north-east coast of New Zealand. It is a place her four adult children and five grandchildren love to visit. During the NZ winters she often escapes to the Australian tropics or travels to the US or UK, travel being another passion, along with reading (writing!) and conservation. Her latest novel, DANCING WITH DRAGONS, is set on Western Australia's Coral Coast and tells the story of 18-year-old dancer Gaia and eleven-year-old orphaned Aboriginal boy, Jarrah, as they support each other and fight for the survival of the endangered sea dragons. This novel has won seven awards and is perfect for nature lovers from age 16 to 80! CALL MY NAME, like all Jenni's novels, is a great read for bookclubs, and is set mainly in Queensland, Australia. It is the story of two women, bound together by contrasting personalities, friendship, love and home—until motherhood rips them apart.
