Jennifer Vanderbes is novelist, journalist and screenwriter whose work has been translated into sixteen languages. She has received awards from the Guggenheim Foundation, the New York Public Library, the Sloan Foundation, the National Endowment for the Humanities and the New York Council for the Arts.
