For many early mornings alongside this I coached rowing – a job that inspired the initial idea for my debut crime novel, The Fifth Guest (which includes a power battle for the last seat in the Oxford boat for the Oxford and Cambridge Boat Race.) I live in South West London with my husband, son and a black and white cat, Larry. Before writing crime novels, I wrote bestselling women's fiction under the pseudonym Jenny Oliver. My books were twice nominated for the RNA Best Contemporary Fiction award. I also wrote the young adult series, Chelsea High (which is one of my favourite books that I've written).
