Jeremy S. Adams is an award-winning teacher and best-selling author from Bakersfield, California. He is the winner of the 2014 California Teacher of the Year Award (DAR) and a 2013 finalist for the Carlston Family Foundation National Teachers of the Year Prize. He was the first teacher ever inducted into the California State University, Bakersfield Hall of Fame in 2018. He has written five books on education and politics and his opinion pieces have appeared in a wide-variety of outlets such as Newsweek, The Los Angeles Times, The Washington Post, The Washington Times, The Federalist, The Huffington Post, Quilette, Law & Liberty, Public Discourse, The Daily Wire, and American Mind. He has taught at Bakersfield High since 1998. He is the father of three children who are relentless in keeping him on his toes. He is a proud alumnus of Washington & Lee University.
