Jordan Fliegel is a serial sports/tech entrepreneur and investor, and published author. He is currently the co-CEO of DRAFT, a venture-backed company in the fantasy sports industry. Before DRAFT, Jordan founded CoachUp, America's leading sports coaching company, whose online service connects athletes with private coaches to help them reach the next level in sports and life. CoachUp has raised more than $15 million in venture funding and won numerous awards, as well as celebrity endorsements from NBA MVP Stephen Curry and NFL star Julian Edelman, along with hundreds of press features in outlets such as LIVE with Kelly and Michael and Late Night with Seth Meyer. Jordan is also co-founder and & Chairman of Athletes of Valor, a platform that helps veterans transition from service providing opportunities for them to play sports in college. Jordan enjoys giving back to the startup ecosystem: as an early-stage technology investor in more than 40 startups through Bridge Boys, a seed fund he co-founded in 2012; as an advisor to several venture-backed startups, and as a mentor at Techstars Boston. He was named to the prestigious Inc. "30 Under 30" list in 2015 and to the Boston Business Journal "40 under 40" list in 2014, and was a finalist for Ernst & Young’s "New England Entrepreneur of the Year" in 2015. A frequent guest columnist at Inc. on the topics of entrepreneurship and leadership, Jordan published his first book, Reaching Another Level in 2014, and his second book, Coaching Up! He has lectured and participated in panels on entrepreneurship, venture capital financing, and leadership at numerous business schools, including the Harvard Business School and the MIT Sloan School of Management. Before his entrepreneurial career, Jordan played professional basketball in Israel. He holds a BA from Bowdoin College with a double major in Government and Philosophy, and an MBA from Tel Aviv University.
