Born in Cairo, Egypt, and shaped by her journey as a Jewish immigrant and former refugee from the Middle East, Josee Amiel-Perez has dedicated her life to advocating for children and families. Drawing on her rich heritage and personal experiences, she brings deep empathy and compassion to everything she does. With degrees in Early Childhood Pedagogy and Social Work, Josee has worked as both a teacher and social worker. Now retired, Josee remains a passionate advocate for inclusion and the LGBTQ+ community. She dreams of a world where every child grows up surrounded by love and kindness.
