Judy Goldman is the author of eight books -- 4 memoirs, 2 novels, and 2 collections of poetry. Her 4th memoir, The Rest of Our Lives, will be published May 6, 2025. Her most recent memoir, Child, was named a Must-Read Book in 2022 by Katie Couric Media and was a finalist for the Southern Book Award in Nonfiction. Her memoir, Together: A Memoir of a Marriage and a Medical Mishap, was named a Best Book of 2019 by Real Simple Magazine, received a starred review from Library Journal, and is an Editor's Pick on Amazon. Her work has appeared in USA Today, The Washington Post, Real Simple, LitHub, The Charlotte Observer, Our State, The Southern Review, Kenyon Review, Gettysburg Review, Ohio Review, Prairie Schooner, Shenandoah, Crazyhorse, etc. She has received numerous awards, including the Hobson Award for Distinguished Achievement in Arts and Letters and the Fortner Writer and Community Award for “outstanding generosity to other writers and the larger community."
