Judy Goldman is the author of seven books -- three memoirs, two novels, and two collections of poetry. Her new book, Child: A Memoir, will be published May 5, 2022. Child was named a Must-Read Book in 2022 by Katie Couric Media. Her memoir, Together: A Memoir of a Marriage and a Medical Mishap, was named a Best Book of 2019 by Real Simple Magazine and received a starred review from Library Journal. Her work has appeared in USA Today, The Washington Post, LitHub, Real Simple, The Southern Review, Kenyon Review, Gettysburg Review, Ohio Review, Prairie Schooner, Shenandoah, Crazyhorse, etc. She has received numerous awards, including the Hobson Award for Distinguished Achievement in Arts and Letters and the Fortner Writer and Community Award for “outstanding generosity to other writers and the larger community."
