K.A. Singer has always been drawn to adventure — whether exploring a shipwrecked Russian Frigate on the ocean floor off the Cayman Islands, hiking to the top of a volcanic island in the eastern Caribbean Sea, flying a drone on the shores of North Carolina's barrier islands, standing in the open doorway of an airplane videotaping skydivers jumping out of the plane, or flying in the back seat of a fighter jet while producing a television news story. He holds an Advanced Scuba Diver certification from PADI and a UAS Remote Pilot certification from the FAA. Singer graduated from Huntington University with a degree in Communications, and received his MPA from the IU School of Public and Environmental Affairs. For the majority of his professional life, he worked in healthcare marketing and public relations, spending twenty-six years managing the marketing, public relations and philanthropic efforts of hospitals in Indiana and North Carolina. He also served as Public Relations Manager for the worldwide headquarters of northAmerican Van Lines, was Marketing Manager at Saint Francis University, and was the owner of Advantage Video Productions. In addition, Singer served as an adjunct professor at Huntington University, was Director of Planning and Development for the City of Huntington, Indiana, was a television news reporter, a youth pastor, an inventor, and is now a licensed real estate professional and an author. Over the years, Singer has served in leadership roles on numerous nonprofit boards of directors in both Indiana and North Carolina. He has been responsible for several award-winning marketing campaigns, and was named Alumnus of the Year in 2000 by Huntington University.
