BIOGRAPHY:

Back in the 1940s and 50s (before I was born!) my mama saw many jazz greats perform at venues like Club Alabam. Mingus or Parker might play and Ellington, Bojangles and other famous folk would drop by! When he had a regular gig in LA, Dizzy Gillespie lived right down the block from my mama's house!

My favorite jazz singers performing today are Paula West and Amber Weekes.
