Kate Baily is a writer, speaker, community and podcast host. She is an ICF Accredited Professional Life and Personal Performance Coach. She is also a She Recovers® Designated Coach and a Grey Area Drinking Coach and holds certificates in The Science of Happiness and Positive Psychology. She was shortlisted for Best Newcomer and a finalist in the prestigious International Coaching Awards hosted by The Coaching Academy Coaching for a Cause category in 2019. Kate co-founded Love Sober with Mandy Manners to provide a platform for their 1-1 Coaching, online courses, workshops, professional training and writing. She coaches women to feel empowered by their choice to stop drinking alcohol, harnessing their decision to go sober to pivot from surviving to thriving in all areas of their lives using a holistic approach to growth, mindset and wellbeing. Kate Baily holds a BA (hons) degree in Sociology and English, a PGCE in English and Drama and a Level 5 diploma in Life Coaching and Personal Performance. She pivoted from teaching drama in 2007 to journalism, working for lifestyle magazines and the national press. A lifelong advocate of wellness and positive psychology she formalised her years of self study, moving into coaching in 2019. Through her work she hopes to raise awareness about mental health and wellbeing, the female experience, neurodiversity and substance use disorders and continue developing ideas about how to live a happier, more fulfilled life in the 21st century as an individual, in community connection and in global contribution. Kate is also an associate coach trainer for The Coaching Academy in Addictive Behaviours Coaching and their Life Coaching Diploma.
