Kim Ketola is a writer and chaplain. Her book Cradle My Heart, Finding God's Love After Abortion (Kregel, 2012) was a Finalist for the 2013 ECPA Book of the Year Awards, the highest award for excellence in Christian publishing. The updated 2025 edition features a Pastor's Guide and materials for faith leaders who help those impacted by abortion. She entered the Minnesota Broadcasters Hall of Fame in 2013 for her life's work in general market and Christian radio and TV. Kim's passion is giving voice to God’s love. This mission has found expression in conference workshops for recovery after abortion, in college classrooms teaching storytelling, in prison day rooms sharing prayers, and in singing to lonely hearts tucked away in nursing homes. The story told in all these places is that God’s love heals our hearts as soothing medicine after fatal mistakes of our own making. She truly believes the story of his love will actually heal our wounded world one heart at a time.
