My name is Kirsten Winkelmann and I have a blooming imagination! Since I could neither live it out in my family (four - now grown - children, two children-in-law and one grandchild) nor in my former job as a tax official and certainly not during the subsequent law studies (degree: First State Examination in Law), I had to channel it in other ways. That's why I've been writing novels for over 20 years! After six contemporary books, I ventured into the genre of the historical novel. "The Spear Son" was published in two parts in early and mid 2021. In addition to being an author, I am a German teacher at the Volkshochschule and an enthusiastic member of a small Protestant church congregation.
