Kirstie Pelling is a writer and journalist based in the UK's Lake District, where her most recent romantic comedy, Sink or Swim, is set. Her debut novel, Life's a Catastrophe, has a cat loving Instagram influencer at its heart. Her second novel, The Happiness Project, follows the misadventures of happiness coach Daisy Blane. Kirstie is no stranger to social media herself - a travel blogger for twenty years she has hiked, biked, canoed and railroaded more than 20 countries with her family for her multi award winning website The Family Adventure Project. Her adventures first began when she cycled across South America on her honeymoon, with a bicycle paid for by the wedding guests and continued when she had kids, pulling them behind her in cycle trailers until they were old enough to pedal themselves. Kirstie writes poetry to commission and was once captured by BBC TV wandering the fells dressed as Wordsworth's cloud. You can find her as Kirstie Pelling Author on social media.
