Kylie Fitzpatrick is the author of four historical novels which have, between them, been published in eleven languages. Kylie loves to read fiction that has a strong, gripping narrative and characters who care deeply about SOMETHING, because this is what gives life, and therefore stories, meaning. She reads broadly because she is usually researching a new novel, and is currently a little preoccupied with the 1920s, an era reeling from the trauma of WWI as well as embracing new freedom, glamour, decadence and experimentation. But we mustn't give too much away! She is also a mentor and manuscript editor for Writer’s & Artists literary consultancy at Bloomsbury publishing and a lecturer and tutor on the Creative Writing degree and MA courses at Bath Spa University.
