I’m a psychologist and author specializing in ADHD. I focus on finding the gifts in ADHD such as creativity, empathy, enthusiasm, emotional sensitivity and being nature smart. I realized that the people who made the most impact on my life were people who saw my gifts and invested in developing my talents. By spreading the idea that ADHD is a gift in The Gift of ADHD, The Gift of Adult ADD and the ADHD Workbook for Teens, I hope to offer that to many people I will never meet. I love it when clients say to me “My life got a lot easier since my parents read your book” I live for that!

I want to spread ideas that will help people find their interests and gifts and create tools that will help people achieve their own missions. My latest book Brain Hacks is tool box of strategies, tools and hacks for goal setting and goal getting. My work in the consulting room and in my writing is to invest in people meeting their own goals so they each can enact the change they would like to see in the world.

I have been a NASA social media reporter on two occasions to see the SpaceX Falcon 9 launch to resupply the international space station. I loved pretending I was a journalist, seeing the astronomical beauty and thrill of the launch, and being reminded to keep running for the next horizon.
