Lorena Amkie is a writer and literary advisor. She has been professionally dedicated to literature for nearly twenty years and has published novels, short stories, and graphic humor books for readers of different ages.

She is the author of the Gothic trilogy, as well as novels such as El Club de los Perdedores, Las Catrinas, Sirenas, ¡No te mueras, Eli!, and El cuerpo de Dorotea; short-story collections including Relatos de impunidad and Mujer mutante busca...; and La Patata Narradora, a collection of comic strips about writers and writing.

Her books have been published by major publishing houses including Grupo Planeta, Penguin Random House, SM, and Panamericana, and have reached thousands of readers in different countries. Her work has moved across young adult literature, short fiction, contemporary fiction, and, more recently, a more personal form of storytelling.

In addition to writing, she works as a literary advisor and has accompanied hundreds of writers through their creative processes, teaching workshops and providing editorial reports and manuscript consultations. She also shares content about literature and writing on her YouTube channel, where she has built a community of more than 170,000 people.

After dozens of books written, thousands read, and hundreds reviewed, she continues to believe that the best stories do not come from having all the answers, but from daring to ask better questions and finding the form that can turn them into literature.
