Hello Readers!
I'm Marcia Daszko, a strategic advisor and keynote speaker to C-suite leaders who want to develop their leadership, pivot their thinking to take bold action, and build fun, fast-growing, innovative organizations. I've been described as a "walking revolution able to visualize trends and opportunities;" and a "contrarian to the status quo."

I've been a voracious reader all of my life and then moved into teaching (from 7th graders to MBA students to C-suite executives and teams across all sectors.) After growing up in Iowa, I moved to California and finished my degrees at Santa Clara University and my Masters in Mass Communication at San Jose State University. My first career took me into teaching, then Corporate Communication, then Consulting. I was mentored by Dr. Perry Gluckman and Dr. W. Edwards Deming (the world-renowned management consultant who helped Japan become a global competitor) and learned how to help organizations apply Dr. Deming's leadership philosophy to transform and innovate. After both mentors passed away in 1993, I started my consulting practice in 1994, working with Dow Chemical, Pepsi, PBS, HP, Apple, etc. For over 25 years, I've guided Fortune 500 leadership teams as well as private companies, the U.S. Navy, healthcare, non-profits, and education sectors.

I wrote my leadership transformation book PIVOT DISRUPT TRANSFORM: How Leaders Beat the Odds and Survive. I've also contributed chapters about transformative leadership in two books: ORGANIZATIONAL PROJECT MANAGEMENT, and the most recent international bestseller, TURNING IDEAS INTO IMPACT: Insights from 16 Silicon Valley Consultants.
