The author Marita Kürschner has become known for her crime series "Lapislazuli & Mr Wichtig", in which two furry investigators solve crimes in a very catty manner. With the time travel novel "Olim - Eine Reise ins Vorgestern" she has put on paper a story that has long been in her head. It wasn't until she was retired that she found the leisure to do it. It was important to her to present her hometown of Viersen with its changing and exciting history in an adventure about courage, friendship, intrigue and love. She is currently working on the third book in the crime series and research for volume 2 of “Olim” is ongoing. In the constant state of restlessness, she finally finds time for her hobbies such as reading, knitting, baking and her garden. New novel projects are planned. She also edits novels and short stories for self-publishers as an editor at Oemchen.
