Marko Papic is the Macro-Geopolitical Chief Strategist and Senior Vice President at BCA Research, one of the largest investment research firms. He is also the published author of Geopolitical Alpha: An Investment Framework for Predicting the Future, which was featured on Bloomberg’s ‘Best Books of 2020’, and his work on incorporating geopolitics into the asset management industry has become part of the CAIA curriculum. At BCA, Marko leads the firm’s premier service, BCA Access, a concierge product providing access to custom research and the wide expert network the firm has cultivated across its 76-year history. He also writes the firm’s macro-geopolitical research subscription, that combines in-depth analysis of politics, geopolitics and policy to call the markets. Previously, Marko was a Partner and the Chief Strategist at an alternative asset management firm in California where he provided institutional investors with around-the-clock market insights and bold calls. He also helped seed global macro hedge funds and curate several funds across public and private markets. Born in Belgrade, Serbia, he has lived in Iraq, Jordan, Switzerland, Canada, and the U.S. He has lectured at the top universities, and he is often featured in the global media.
