Dr. Marlena Corcoran writes on international business education as a Contributor to Forbes. She founded Athena Mentor: International University Admissions Counseling (Munich and New York) 20 years ago to help young people discover who they are and what they really care about—and present themselves with confidence, enthusiasm and success to the most selective colleges and MBA programs in the world. Her Ph.D. is from Brown University, and she has held visiting research appointments at Harvard, Princeton, Oxford and the CNRS Paris. I have spoken at the Princeton and Cornell Clubs of New York and presented at conferences and on industry podcasts on topics ranging from early career business education to how to tell the Ivies apart. My advice has been published in Harvard Business Review.
