Author, speaker, and evangelist Mattie Montgomery first stepped onto the stage of international ministry during his 10-year stint as the vocalist of renowned spirit-filled hardcore band “For Today.” He now serves as the President of Awakening Evangelism, a ministry that provides training, resources, and inspiration to believers who desire to proclaim the Gospel fearlessly and advance the Kingdom in their every-day lives.
Mattie is passionate about seeing the people of God awakened to the glory of their identity in Christ, and released to have an eternal impact on their communities. He lives in Mobile, AL with his wife Candice, and their three sons, Kai, Caleb, and Carver.
