Maura Pierlot is an Australian-American author, playwright and filmmaker who writes across art forms for children and adults in the areas of mental health, wellbeing, ethics and the environment. Maura is writer and executive producer of the award-winning youth mental health web series, Fragments (view on YouTube, Big Ideas Press), and founder of The Book Bench Project. Her latest picture books include Alphabetter – A Better You and Me, from A to Z and What Will You Make Today? Maura has a Ph.D. in philosophy, specialising in ethics.
