Michael Dane was a professional investigator for over twenty-five years. His Frank McBride stories are entirely fictional but inspired by his own experience as an officer in H.M. Customs & Excise’s National Investigation Service. Michael re-trained as a lawyer and joined the private sector where he investigated cases of fraud, corruption, smuggling, money laundering and breaches of international sanctions on five continents. He now writes full time and lives in England’s Vale of Belvoir.
