Hello reader and future Dumpster Doll fan. My name is Michelle Mays (the real dumpster doll). The Dumpster Doll series a 3 part series meant to chronicle the life cycle of a foster child. What they endure prior to being put into the system, what they endure during being in foster care, and what they deal with once they are old enough to be on their own. Two of the books have been published so far with the third coming in 2023. A little bit about me personally.... I wear many hats professionally. I am a data analyst, a dj, an author, and the Founder and CEO of FosterHub. I never stop working to provide a better life for myself and others. I founded FosterHub, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit to help foster children when they age out of the system. This is the whole reason I found it important to share my personal experiences with the foster care system and pay tribute to the wonderful mentors I had along the way. I am a mother to three grown young men who are successful in their careers and relationships. I have a very strong foundation that was built by blood, sweat, and many tears. One would never guess by reading my story and knowing me personally that I have endured such events. I let these experiences fuel me to succeed. I hope they inspire you as well.
