Mike Brownlow is a best-selling writer and illustrator of books for children. These include the hugely popular TEN LITTLE series, illustrated by Simon Rickerty and published by Orchard. He and Simon have produced nine titles so far, including TEN LITTLE BOOKWORMS, specially created for World Book Day 2019.
MEET THE PENGUINS was published in the same year by OUP, which Mike illustrated as well as wrote.
One of the first books he created was LITTLE ROBOTS, which was subsequently developed into the much-loved animated TV series of the same name, shown in the UK on CBeebies as well as in more than 70 other countries.
When he's not working on a new book, Mike is very involved in local politics, and is a member of the Green Party. He lives in Somerset with his wife. They have three grown-up daughters and a clutch of grandchildren.
